Elder Family Matters - charges
Charges (exclusive of GST)Our charges range from $25.00 per hour depending on the level of care required. The actual charges for the personalised care programme will be outlined in detail in a proposal. The proposal is received following the initial free-of-charge visit.
Invoices are sent fortnightly. Minimum session time for personalised care is two hours. Financial Support / FundingElder Family Matters is not contracted to government (DHB, MoH, or ACC) for the provision of funded care. Unlike other providers we do administer “Carer Support” payments for our clients. A person who may be eligible for Carer Support is the main carer for a loved one. This subsidy enables them to pay for care while they take a break. Approval for Carer Support follows an assessment by the District Health Board (DHB). If you wish to find out if you are eligible for Carer Support funding, you can call the Care Coordination Centre at (04) 566 2226. For this process, this organisation covers both Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua and Kapiti. |
