Your parents may be reasonably independent but because you may not live close by or visit as often as you would like wouldn't be reassuring to know that a reliable, intelligent and kind person is regularly in touch with Mum or Dad.
Maybe you're an older person interested in care for yourself. You may no longer have a driver's licence or the energy or ability you used to have to manage all your daily tasks as efficiently as you would like.
The Companion level programme involves the following:
Occasional transport: medical appointments; shopping for food, clothes or gifts.
Outings and companionship: visiting old haunts, galleries, cinemas, theatre, concerts, the library, cafes, friends or family; going for walks or a drive.
Assistance with daily tasks: housework, laundry, meal preparation.
