Jude Dore

The idea behind Elder Family Matters dropped into Jude’s lap early in 2000, and the ‘baby-boomer’ was ready for the challenge, having spent the previous 40 years as a teacher, social worker, counsellor, and human resources advisor.
Jude's vision is to assist families so they are involved with their parents during their ageing process. Jude has grown Elder Family Matters into a highly respected business in the aged care industry, and continues to gather a talented team around her – all working to the same philosophy of excellent Client care.
Lawrie Stewart

General Manager
Lawrie joined the company in 2010. His career has always focused on care. Initially his career has focused on young people and now with the elderly. His work experience includes secondary and tertiary educator, school advisor, technology project manager, and public service senior advisor.
He is relishing the challenge of working in a care and health environment that provides tangible support and care for the elderly through the running of an efficient, well managed, and service focused company with a team of exceptional Carers.
Rachel Simmers
Accounts Manager
Constantly extending her knowledge base is a Rachel Simmers personality trait! She joined the team in January 2009 as part-time Accounts Manager. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration majoring in Accounting.
Rachel moved to New Zealand from Canada in 2006. She brings to Elder Family Matters a ‘can-do’ attitude, an eye for detail, and an infectious enthusiasm for her role that ensures Elder Family Matters operates efficiently.
Emma Fromings

Area Manager - Kapiti, Porirua
From day one of Emma’s nursing training she has enjoyed working with the elderly. Now with 25 years experience as a Registered Nurse in NZ and the UK and running her own business as a massage therapist and tutor Emma is relishing building the quality service that is Elder Family Matters in the Kapiti Coast and Porirua region.
Emma has a particular knowledge, skill, and passion in working with people living with Dementia and assisting the elderly stay in their own home. She believes ‘home is best’, particularly for people with Dementia.
Meera Isaac
- B.Sc. (Occupational Therapy)
Area Manager - Hutt Valley
Meera joined Elder Family Matters in 2011 with 25 years experience in the field of care of the older person. Meera’s experience has included being a team leader in both occupational therapy departments and in a NASC (Needs assessment and service coordination), and a manager in a large care agency.
As a long-term Hutt Valley resident Meera is motivated to grow the services provided by Elder Family Matters for older people in the Hutt Valley through her passion for ensuring that older people receive quality care services.
Paul Ineson
- BSc (Hons) Nursing
Area Manager - Wellington
Paul trained and gained registration as a nurse in London and developed community health competence as a program director to empower people with rheumatoid arthritis to live a successful and fulfilled life. He is excited about helping the elderly seeking and achieve better life choices in their own homes.
Paul brings his vast knowledge from the health sector and effective consulting expertise in business to grow Elder Family Matters as the leading company for home-based support services.
